Introduction

What if we’ve complicated this whole “Jesus” thing? What if we took a simple design and a simple life and made it into something so big and audacious and overwhelming that we couldn’t possibly see how our life had a purpose in all of it?

What if the way we led, served, raised kids, ran businesses and prepared meals was a lot simpler than we’ve made it out to be?

What if we’ve gotten it all wrong ... this striving for the American dream, the perfect family, the newest car, the best dinner party complete with cloth napkins and fancy dishes?

What if you could change the WORLD by living differently?

You see, we believe that if we want to leave our mark on the world, we have one simple task: #BeLikeJesus.

It really is that simple.

Jesus never served meals with fancy dishes and cloth napkins; He tore loaves of bread and cooked fish on hot rocks.

Jesus never expected anyone to serve Him or treat Him like royalty; He came to Earth in the form of an unassuming baby, lived as a carpenter and washed His disciples’ feet.

Jesus didn’t avoid the bad parts of town or cross the street when sinners or sick people were walking in His direction. Rather, He went out of His way to get in front of people who were different than He was. He spoke truth and love, healed and invited them into the kingdom.

Jesus never questioned sacrifice. He knew what it required to reconcile humanity back to God—and He freely gave His life for us.

You might be saying to yourself, “None of that about Jesus is simple!” But, friend, we want to suggest that it’s a whole lot easier than we’ve made it out to be.

When we put aside the way culture tells us to live and commit to living like Jesus, that’s when we leave our mark on the world. Live differently, love more, give freely … #BeLikeJesus.

Are you ready to be a fellow world-changer?
